Why Choose Nainital Jim Corbett Tour
The combination of Nainital and Jim Corbett offers two very different yet beautifully complementary travel experiences. Here is why you should choose this unique tour itinerary:
- Nainital: Nainital is often referred to as the “Lake District of India,” is a hill station known for its emerald lakes, colonial architecture, lively bazaars, and breathtaking views. It is soothing, romantic, and refreshing. Located in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand at an altitude of 2,000 m, this town is surrounded by seven hills: Handi-Bandi, Naina, Ayarpata, Deopata, Alma, Sher-Ka-Danda, and Lariya-Kanta. It is considered one of the Shakti Peeths (holy places) according to Hindu mythology.
- Jim Corbett National Park: On the other hand, Jim Corbett National Park is India’s oldest national park, teeming with exotic wildlife and lush forest landscape. Established in 1936, this tiger reserve is divided into various tourism zones like Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhikala, etc., each offering a distinct experience. It is where you come face to face with nature in its rawest form, from leopards, elephants, sloth bears, elusive Bengal tigers to various bird species. The park offers the best jeep safari experience to spot notable species of mammals, reptiles and aquatic fauna.
What makes this Jim Corbett Nainital tour package special is how smoothly it transitions between the gentle rhythms of Nainital mountain life and the thrilling pulse of the Corbett Jungle.
