Itinerary
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, receive a warm welcome and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple to witness the Aarati Darshan on the banks of the Bagmati River. Later, during dinner at the hotel or designated restaurant, there will be a detailed tour program briefing.
After breakfast, you will proceed to Kathmandu sightseeing, by visiting the holy temples like Pashupatinath Temple, Jal Narayan Temple, and other places. Return back to hotel and relax, prepare yourself for next day yatra. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After morning breakfast check out from the hotel and drive Syabrubesi. Overnight stay at a guest house.
Morning breakfast drive to Rasuwagadhi, where immigration and customs formalities will happen here for exiting Nepal and entering Tibet. After immigration completed we drive to Kyirong County for and overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Sanga. En route, enjoy the grand views of Mt. Shishapangma (8,021 m), Gauri Shankar, and other majestic peaks from Gurung-La Pass (5,050 m) before reaching Sanga.
After breakfast drive towards The Sacred Holy Lake Mansarovar. It’s very auspicious day for all people as they will have first glimpse of Holy Lake Mansarovar and view of Mt.Kailash from Horchu. After completing the Local immigration will continue your drive further and complete Lake Mansarovar Parikrama by vehicle (102 kms : 3 hrs). On the way find a beautiful place to take memorable groups picture of Kailash, Mansarovar and Rakshash lake. This is the moment all are eagerly waiting for has arrived. The breathtaking view of Manasarovar and magnificent view of galaxy is something amazing memories for everyone to cherish for lifetime. Overnight at the Shore of the Lake.
It’s very auspicious day for all Yatries. To be in the abode of God itself is a lifetime achievement. Everyone can just have holy bath at the banks of the Holy Lake Sarovar, Continued by Puja, Havana work Meditation and spiritual activities etc. After lunch drive to Darchen for overnight stay.
After breakfast short drive to Tarboche, visit Yama Dwar the starting point of trek. We will begin the trek to Dirapuk, which is a 12 kms trek that will take 7-8hrs crossing west face of Mount Kailash. You will be enlightened and feel blessed by the darshan of the North Face of Mount Kailash (Charan Sparsh) on the first day of Parikrama, which is considered to be most auspicious. Those who will not be going for Parikrama will travel from Yamdwar to Darchen, which is just 30 minutes away, and stay there in a guest house for 2 nights and enjoy the undeniable view of the holy Mount Kailash.
Note : Parikrama is optional. Few would be doing Parikrama by walking, a few by horse, and a few old people may not be doing Parikrama. Those who are not doing Parikrama will return from Yam Dwar to the Guest House at Darchen. We will arrange meals and accommodations there. Holy Mount Kailash is easily visible from there, and one can do puja from there too.
People staying at Darchen will join other group members in the first half once they complete the third day of Parikrama
2nd day of Kailash Parvat Parikrama wake up early in the morning fresh up and had breakfast and start your trek of 22 km from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass and then to Zuthulpuk. It is also said to be the most difficult part of the journey throughout the Kailash Parvat Yatra, as you will be trekking up to 18,600 feet above sea level. From Dolma La Pass, descend to Gauri Kund and further trek along the river to Zuthulpuk.
Mount Kailash Parikrama, the first 6-7 km (till Dolma La Pass at 5600 m) has a very steep climb and is also considered the most difficult part of the Yatra. All the yatris who are doing the Parikrama of Kailash Parvat are advised to take a comfortable time to cover it and rest whenever and wherever they feel any kind of problem. After the first 6-7 km, the remaining 16 km are comparatively plain, downward, and comfortable.
Important: You will pass through Shivasthal (a sacred place for Tibetans; it is believed that whatever you offer here, you will get it in heaven) and Gauri Kund. After Dolma La Pass, it’s a long, pleasant trek beside the river. You will see the east face of Mount Kailash here.
Note : if you are not doing Parikrama then you will be trek back to Darchen.
Today 3rd day as the last day of Mount Kailash Parikrama is around 8 kms trek which takes almost 3 hours to complete. Generally, we complete the parikrama by 9:00–10:00 a.m. After completing Parikrama, we will drive to Darchen. Overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast drive back to Kyirung for overnight stay.
After breakfast drive back to (China-Nepal) Border, complete the immigration & custom formalities at Rasuwa Gadhi then short walk to our hotel at Timure. After lunch drive to Kathmandu for overnight stay.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and you are fee until the flight time. You will be drop at the Airport 1-2 hours before flight time (30 mins drive).

Registration Process :
- Fill up the Kailash Yatra 2025 Booking Form, and scan a colored image of your passport.
- Pay the non-refundable registration amount in a corporate bank account or online and mention the transaction number on the registration form.
- Attach a self-attested copy of identity proofs, like a valid Indian passport (Mandatory), and two photographs.
- Email Registration Form, Scan Valid ID Proofs & Transaction Number on Email: info@traveloi.com & courier originals self-attested copies to us on office address.
Send 1 month before the Yatra Date:
- Original self-attested physical fitness certificate from any MBBS doctor, not more than 1 month old from the Yatra date. (Ask for a format from us.).
- Carry the original passport (2nd option) during the yatra.
Payment Booking
To confirm your booking, a 30% advance payment of the total trip cost is required along with a copy of your passport. This is necessary for reserving flight tickets, hotel accommodations, and processing the Kailash permit. The remaining balance must be paid upon processing the Kailash permit. Payment can be made via Western Union, bank transfer, receiving the permit. Passport & Visa Requirements
Indian Indian citizens do not require a passport for entry into Nepal. For Kailash Yatra, a citizens do not require a passport for entry into Nepal. For Kailash Yatra, a passport valid for at least six months from the departure date is required.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your booking after making a payment, the following cancellation charges will apply:
30% cancellation fee if canceled four weeks before the tour departure date.
60% cancellation fee canceled four weeks before the tour departure date.
No refund will be provided for cancellations made within two weeks of departure, no-shows, or provided for cancellations made within two weeks of departure, no-shows, or delayed arrivals.
