Kedarnath Badrinath Ex Delhi

Day 1: Delhi – Haridwar (220 Kms: 6:30 hrs)

Morning Arrived at New Delhi airport / railway station and we will drive towards Haridwar. Reaching Haridwar, check in to the hotel and relax yourself. In the evening, attend Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri on the banks of Ganges. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 : Haridwar – Phata (250 Kms : 8 hrs)

After having breakfast leave for Phata on the way we can visit Guptkashi Temple which is dedicated to the god Shiva, which is similar to the one in Varanasi (Kashi). Gupt Kashi means “Hidden Benares”. Mythology describes how when the Pandava brothers were searching for glimpse of Shiva, Shivji first concealed himself at Guptkashi, but later fled from them further up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally got their wish fulfilled. Later we drive to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 : Phata – Sonprayag (20 Kms: 1:30 hrs) – Gaurikund (5 kms: 30 mints) – Kedarnath ( 18 Kms trek : 8 hrs)

Early morning (2 am) check out from the hotel (keep your luggage on the vehicle or locker room / extra room in the hotel if there is any facility in the hotel). We drive to Sonprayag from where the Govt. approved taxi which takes (50rs PP) to drop you at Gaurikund where you start your trek to Kedarnath Ji. Government has put up tents for stay at Bhimbali, Lencholi and Kedarnath; they will also provide meals and medical facilities at these locations. After darshan at Kedarnath overnight stay at Kedarnath Camps. (At your own cost by walk, doli, horse).
• Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface.

Day 4 : Kedarnath (18 Kms Trek : 8 hrs) – Gaurikund (5 Kms : 20 mints) – Sonprayag – Phata (20 Kms : 1:30 hrs)

Get up early in the morning, refresh yourself, and take a bath, after that you arrive at the temple around 4:45 am for the ‘Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva (This arrangement will be done by taking puja slip at Temple). Everyone can go inside Garbha Griha and touch the idol. After darshan and puja you come out of the temple and return to the Govt. Camps / Lodges. Later you’ll start the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. The vehicles wait for you in Sonprayag Parking stand and you’ll drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 : Phata – Joshimath – Badrinath (205 Kms : 8 hrs)

Morning breakfast we drive to Badrinath covering Joshimath & Chopta valley (known as Mini Switzerland) famous for picturesque snow-capped mountains, natural beauty. Reaching at Joshimath we can visit Narsingh temple which is the winter sheet of Badrinath Ji, and then we can visit Shankaracharya math. After visiting the temples, we move forwards to Badrinath. Check in at the hotel, refresh yourself and then we all are set to go to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. But first you have to go to Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take a bath and then go to the temple. After Darshan returned to the hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 6 : Badrinath – Rudraprayag (165 Kms : 6 hrs)

Morning we take a bath in tapt kund (hot water spring) then go for Badrinath ji Temple Do Darshan and Puja after that we can visit surrounding temple laxmi temple, Hanuman Ji temple, Kuber ji , Aadi kedareshwar temple etc then return to the hotel for breakfast (please inform the hotel person for breakfast while going to Darshan on morning). then proceed towards the Manna Village visit Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple. Later in the afternoon around we drive to Rudraprayag for overnight stay.

Day 7 : Rudrprayag -Rishikesh (160 Kms : 5 hrs)

Morning, breakfast, drive towards Haridwar via Rishikesh enroute visit Dhari temple , Dev Prayag Sangam and move forward to Rishikesh a spiritual city and also known as the Yoga capital of the world. Reaching at Rishikesh check inn at hotel relax for some time after that you will do the Rishikesh sightseeing visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat to attend Ganga Aarti etc. Evening we drive back to hotel for overnight stay.
(Note : Due to traffic we suggest you to take auto rikshaw to view these places.)

Day 8 : Rishikesh – Delhi Depart (265 Kms : 5 hrs)

Morning after breakfast we drive to Delhi. Reaching at Delhi we drop you at Airport/ Railway station to board the flight or train to your onward journey. Chardham Yatra ends here with lot of memories and blessings.
